1. About this policy
This Cookie Policy explains how Reelory uses cookies and similar technologies (local storage, session storage, and comparable browser mechanisms) on reelory.ai and in the Reelory web application.
It also explains how you can refuse everything that is not strictly necessary, and how you can change that decision at any time afterwards.
This policy sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which describes in more detail what personal data we process and why.
2. Who we are
Reelory is operated by Irina Iscenco, an individual sole trader (not a company).

Reelory is a software product: you submit a link to a short-form video (Reels, TikTok, Shorts) and the platform automatically analyses it with AI — hook, structure, virality triggers, pacing — and returns a structured report, normally within about a minute. Delivery is instant and fully digital.
3. What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store. On each later request, the browser sends it back, so the site can recognise the session, remember a preference, or measure how the product is used.
We also use technologies that behave like cookies but store data differently — for example localStorage and sessionStorage. Wherever this policy says “cookies”, it covers those technologies too, and the same consent rules apply to them.
Cookies can be:
- First-party— set by reelory.ai itself.
- Third-party— set by a service we use, such as our payment provider.
- Session— deleted when you close the browser.
- Persistent— kept for a defined period, or until you delete them.
4. Categories we use
4.1 Strictly necessary cookies
These are required for the service to work at all. Without them you cannot log in, stay logged in, complete a purchase, or have the interface render in your language. They are set without asking for consent, and they cannot be switched off through the banner — if you block them in your browser, parts of Reelory will stop working.

Payments on Reelory are processed by Paddle, which acts as merchant of record. Paddle operates the checkout and sets its own necessary cookies during that flow. We never see or store your full card details.
The only third parties that set cookies on reelory.ai are Paddle (checkout, payment and fraud prevention) and Sentry (error monitoring). No other third party sets cookies on reelory.ai. If that list changes, this policy is updated before the change goes live.
Legal basis: these cookies are necessary to provide the service you asked for, and our legitimate interest in keeping the service functioning, and accounts and payments safe. Under EU/UK e-privacy rules, strictly necessary cookies are exempt from the consent requirement.
4.2 Analytics cookies
Analytics cookies are used to count visits and to understand how a product is used.
At the time of the last update of this policy, Reelory does not set analytics cookies. If we introduce them, they will appear in the banner as a separate, unticked category, they will only be set after you actively accept that category, and this policy will be updated with the provider name and the cookie lifetimes before they go live. Refusing them will have no effect on your ability to use Reelory.
Legal basis: your consent, if and when this category becomes active.
4.3 Marketing cookies
Marketing cookies are used to measure the effectiveness of advertising and, in some cases, to show you Reelory ads on other websites.
At the time of the last update of this policy, Reelory does not set marketing or advertising cookies. If we introduce them, they will appear in the banner as a separate, unticked category, they will only be set after you actively accept that category, and this policy will be updated before they go live. Expected lifetimes for such cookies would be short — typically up to 90 days for conversion measurement and up to 6 months for audience-based advertising.
Legal basis: your consent, if and when this category becomes active.
5. How to refuse non-essential cookies
Reelory currently sets strictly necessary cookies only. Nothing on this site profiles you, tracks you across other websites, or feeds an advertising network, so there is no consent banner to click through: under GDPR, strictly necessary cookies do not require consent, and we do not ask for consent we do not need.
If we ever introduce analytics or marketing cookies, we will not switch them on silently. A consent banner will appear beforeany such cookie is set, optional categories will be unticked by default, and refusing will be a single click at the same level of prominence as accepting — never hidden behind a submenu. This policy will be updated with the provider and the cookie lifetimes before that happens.
Refusing will never affect your ability to use Reelory, buy credits, or run an analysis.
6. How to change your decision later
There is no consent decision to revisit while we set strictly necessary cookies only. Should optional cookies be introduced, withdrawing consent will be as easy as giving it: the same banner will be reachable from the footer of every page, we will stop setting the relevant cookies immediately, and cookies already placed under that category will be deleted. Withdrawal is not retroactive — it does not make processing that happened while consent was active unlawful.
You can also clear or block cookies in your browser at any time, as described below.
7. Browser-level controls
Independently of our banner, you can control cookies in your browser:
- Block all or third-party cookies, delete existing cookies, or clear them on exit — see the privacy or security settings of Chrome, Safari, Firefox, or Edge.
- Use private/incognito windows, which discard cookies when closed.
- Use browser extensions that block tracking.
Note that blocking all cookies, including strictly necessary ones, will break sign-in, checkout, and language selection on Reelory.
Reelory does not currently treat the Global Privacy Control (GPC) or “Do Not Track” headers as a substitute for the banner. Use the banner or “Cookie settings” to refuse non-essential cookies.
8. Retention
- Each cookie expires after the lifetime shown in the table above, or earlier if you delete it.
- Your consent record is kept for up to 6 months, then you are asked again.
- If analytics cookies are introduced, data derived from them will be retained in aggregated or pseudonymised form for up to 24 months, then deleted or further aggregated.
- Server-side technical logs that may contain a session identifier or IP address are retained for up to 90 days for security and debugging, then deleted.
9. Where this data goes
Reelory runs on a server hosted with Vultr in New Jersey, USA, and our database is hosted on Supabase (AWS, us-east, USA). Error monitoring is provided by Sentry, payments by Paddle, and transactional email by an email delivery provider.
This means cookie-related data may be transferred to and processed in the United States. Where such transfers involve personal data of individuals in the EEA or UK, they are made under appropriate safeguards, including the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses with our processors. Our Privacy Policy describes this in full.
10. Your rights
Where cookies process personal data, you have the right to access it, receive a copy, correct it, delete it, object to or restrict its processing, and request it in a portable format. Account export and account deletion are available directly in the Reelory interface; for anything else, write to support@reelory.ai.
You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
11. Changes to this policy
If we add a cookie category, change a purpose, or change how consent is collected, we will update this policy and, where required, re-request your consent through the banner before the change takes effect. The “Last updated” date at the top always reflects the current version.
